-When a tenant moved out, the management company refunded their security deposit but failed to account for damage, such as holes in walls and outlets ripped off the walls, leaving me with repair bills and also tenants moving in without the repairs being done.Stuff like this that is consistent and when I ask questions they are defensive, when I ask for more quotes for high ticket items they are defensive.

I believe the neighborhood has some of the strongest fundamentals in the entire city but its incredibly easy to make the wrong assumptions when investing in Mount Airy if you don't truly know the market and the only way to do this is by spending considerable time in the neighborhood.

If you open up the wall to do something, you will need a permit for plumbing and electrical a lot of the time because they will want to see behind the wall before you close it.

@Sandee SampsonA construction attorney would be who to contact but you are going to spend a lot more than $7000 in getting this resolved against a builder.Also let’s say you win, the courts could also say you didn’t pay for a retaining wall which is needed so it’s a betterment to the property so you would still need to pay for the wall and they would be responsible for some soil etc.
