The big box stores squeeze and hamstring their contractors so bad they are forced to cut corners and many quit half way through the first job when they realize they’re losing money, or just put in effort commensurate to what they’re getting paid which means a terrible finished product.

(Unless you’re going to use that space yourself.) 1- an ordinance just passed midterm elections (placed by our board of stupidvisors of course;) that significantly fines LL’s with vacant commercial space. 2- renting retail commercial was hard enough in SF, primarily because of use restrictions/red tape and exorbitant build out costs, which hamstrings small businesses.

Kind of what I thought, a move to hamstring the CFPB hated by one party, not about transparency it's about political appoints by the President confirmed by the Senate.From a regulatory standpoint this is a bad idea, it destabilizes regulatory consistency according to the political powers at the time who may be in the majority.
