Tenants can commonly cause this issue by flushing wipes or pouring bacon grease in the drain.

To summarize the position I'm taking in this thread (and the impression I have gotten from Tyler's series of posts and also from your original post and response to mine), though the first purchase acquired from Morris Invest may have been imperfect, those experiences are areas for improvement rather than reasons to flush future opportunities down the drain.

So take your hot take & flush it down the toilet.Being truly, truly anonymous is never a reality but doing what it takes to create layers of protections absolutely exists and when it's all you have or part of what you have it's worth owning it.

Don’t rely too much on others to guide you ultimately, there will be many voices that tell you how difficult real estate can be, about tenants who flush steaks down the toilet (has happened to me) and evictions in NY.

You can shut off the water yourself by turning off the main valve, but also drain the pipes by opening all faucets and flushing toilets to clear out any remaining water.
