The rules vary so much that even in the same states there are different rules at different counties. 

March 2, 2025The Treasury Department is announcing today that, with respect to the Corporate Transparency Act, not only will it not enforce any penalties or fines associated with the beneficial ownership information reporting rule under the existing regulatory deadlines, but it will further not enforce any penalties or fines against U.S. citizens or domestic reporting companies or their beneficial owners after the forthcoming rule changes take effect either.

I was referring to STR, but I guess my post title did have REP in it.I had not read the 500 hrs rule when grouping, so thank you. 

The key to rent-by-the-room is establishing clear house rules so everyone knows how to get along, clean common spaces, and how to resolve disputes.

Seems like those first year hoa rules might be a minor issue but if you stand to profit I would explore it.

With the new BOI rules it's not like it used to be.
