Definitely install backup flaps and valves for all floor drains and the main line.

These start failing after 50+ years, causing lots of backups and problems.

I don’t see where a rental would make sense, so I’m trying to look at other options to cover the monthly payments until the market goes back up.  

You need the backup option in case the mid-term rental market changes.Minimizing turn costs and downtime is critical.

Have a Backup Plan: Annual Rental Numbers Matter•Always know the annual rental numbers in case you need to pivot to a long-term rental model.

Make sure to keep backup documentation for each transaction if possible and transfer the balance when you return.

Yeah I was thinking of having the business degree as a backup plan too.

But I usually heard this from people who had never owned a business before, didn’t have the cash to back up their plans, and often were planning to maintain full time jobs.My advice: Start with one business.
