My husband is also very allergic to cats and will cost us a lot of money to deep clean the apartment once he moves out which is what we explained.

What is interesting to me is all the owner/operators I know and/or know of that were founded in the 90's, have an almost allergic reaction to interest rate exposure.

But my wife and I want to partially use our str, and we're very allergic to any pet dander and sensitive to smell, even after cleaning.So for the people who are not going to allow pets, does anyone have advice for how to market their property in light of that fact?

Cats don't do well in new places and they can cause severe allergic reactions in people.

It's the same with pets some people are highly allergic to animals and will specifically rent in a no pet building.

Also if any of the conditions mentioned by Bruce above such as the presence of the animal causing you undo financial harm (such as insurability or liability issues), or the animal is a threat to the safety and health of other building occupants (maybe they are allergic?) 

The contractor reports to me that there's cats everywhere, the place SMELLS like ammonia..... he even refused the job because he got a terrible allergic reaction and the place smelled too bad.....Other than annoying instances of having to wait for him to get us cheks a couple days late, he hasn't been a problem.....But I fear the place will have a permenant smell, and who knows what other pet damage there is.....Should I threaten eviction?

Anyways, our contractor was first going to tackle the water issues and then knock out every wall (which I would have requested anyways lol) as nearly every wall visibly had mold and I am highly allergic to mold.In fact, even though I suited up I'm now having to go see my eye and health doctors as my eyes weren't 100% corrected and now I'm having allergy issues due to doing just a quick walk-through.So while you may think it is a scam, people like me literally need to have the job done fully and at highest quality.

Worse, I'm allergic to tobacco cigarette smoke and passive tobacco tar isn't much better for me in terms of the allergic response it kicks off.
