I have bought and sold several properties across Chicago and Barrington area over the past seven years, and was a real estate agent for 2 years in my early twenties.

So if I'm in my early twenties, want to get started, why not do that? 

It depends, selling a company you built and grinded for in your twenties would obviously be worth it but like you said sacrificing family time, hobby time, and other self-fulfilling activities may not be worth it. 

Years later, in my twenties, I would ask her about incidents that I could never forget, but for her...they were just gone.

If so, you can't really pivot to short-term rentals there and have to capitalize on the inn vibe and in-house services.My major question is why is the current owner, who bought it after it sat vacant for twenty years, looking to sell you the problem they can't fix?

I wish I had gotten started ten or twenty years sooner. 

If that's the obstacle for Jerome to not be willing to increase rates, then how does the 10 year not roar even louder?
