Alone, living like a local in Central America or Indonesia, I could live on very little.

Also, does anyone know will it be better if i were to invest overseas, would it be a better choice to invest in property in countries closer to me like Malaysia or Indonesia, as compared to the US?

Been hearing things like this about Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, and alot of Europe (you'd know best about that one) - still skeptical about the Philippines - I hear many good things from some, bad from others, but I'd keep an eye on them in any case.2) Stable/temporarily recessed but stable economy, based on your risk preference and reliance on capital gains.

Hi guys, I've been traveling frequently myself over the past 20 years, been to Panama, Mexico, Thailand about 20 times, Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, Europe.I like Costa Rica for several reasons, #1, the Costa Rican people are so nice, welcoming and helpful.

I'm a 21 year old guy who lives in a gated community in a suburb somewhere in approximately 40 km west of Jakarta, Indonesia.

The countries who intend to begin "protectionist trade practices" include Russia, India, Indonesia, Brazil, and Argentina.

I traded for it over 30 years ago.Side note- I bought a couple great Rolexes on the beach in Indonesia couple months ago. $5 for one and $15 for the other.

If I knew the answer to that I wouldnt be at my desk today, I'd be surfing in Indonesia on a boat with my GF!!!
