Thanks for the link - looks like a great property and I'm a sucker for properties located near baseball and football stadiums ;-)That being said, I assume you've only looked at doing this as a long-term rental?

I played collegiate football at Montana State, where I learned the value of discipline, teamwork, and persistence—skills that I now bring to my journey in real estate.

They have nothing to lose, its like giving someone a free ticket to the football game, if they go great if they do not who cares they just do not go and there is no consequences for them. 

The only place I see more cheating is in the recruiting of SEC football players (SEC fan here).

This is not about becoming a college or pro player.Work on (fun) physical and mental toughness with me at the house (wrestle, tackle football, physical basketball). 

Our guests have ranged from newly hired UNR football coaches relocating their families to individuals traveling for medical care, couples on ski leases for Mt.

However, I wouldn't want to live anywhere in Michigan because of their college football team.

No top league professional football, basketball, or hockey teams.  

Go on hikes instead of football games.

I do think the MTR/STR mix makes the most sense for Austin - MTR most of the year but switch to STR to maximize during the hottest travel months (spring for SXSW, fall for ACL/Formula One/UT Football)
