Is there no viable venue that private money lenders can meet directly with borrowers, where both have goals that can be met in truth and with confidence?  

I am curious about those who rent a room on Furnished Finders (like to travel nurses) in their private home. 

Now I just call or text agents and say hey, I'm a flipper, before I spend time and travel to go look at this listing, how flexible are your sellers?

@Kermaury Musgrove  I started investing back in 2010, but it was after I had worked with 50-60 investors and I had seen them successfully buy, rehab, and rent properties before I build up the confidence to try it out for myself. 

Who is traveling there and for what reason would they be looking for a midterm rental?

We give them two options for screening. they can either provide documentation that they are traveling for their job or they can pay for tenant screening.

I am not at that stage yet to spend $1000 + travel expenses for a seminar/workshop. 

As in my case, working as a full service Property Manager, I'd imagine that would instill more confidence that a building will be taken care of, units will be leased, preventative maintenance will be done, etc.

And about 25% of my guests come from travel agents somehow.
