I meant that they will be the ones responsible for maintaining the property in terms of cutting the grass and shoveling, nothing more than that.As far as the temp goes, if I'm paying utilities I want to be able to maintain an even balance between both units.

Generally speaking, if I were to buy a multi family out here it would be in:-Tempe-South Scottsdale-East Mesa-Some of the historic districts in downtownNow there are some exceptions to that, and again that is just where my level of comfort lies.

If for some reason you want to keep your money in AZ, I'd recommend Tempe, Mesa, Chandler and Gilbert as cities with the best opportunities.
