Heating mat underneath bathroom tile not working, need to replace and relay tile. 

I had a toilet overflow in the master bedroom and two days later the living room floor was wet underneath.

We would be comparing the fire retardants and other chemicals to prevent stains and the pad underneath in carpet flooring, to the PVC in VInyl planks and possibly some amount of Phtalates.

The following weekend I closed the opening and thought "Cool, problem fixed"...Well one morning I noticed that something had made a mess in my kitchen and there was a banana clawed and eaten.The sink base cabinet was slightly open and upon further review there is missing dry wall underneath the back side of the sink that creates an entry way to my unit.I blocked this sink base cabinet so it won't open but I know this is still a temporary fix...what should I do?

You can write into the contract that you want the sellers to dig up the oil tank and run the soil tests.

Even if the unit looks nice these are all possible underneath.

Call an attorney, but likely that mortgage will have to get paid off before you can get out from underneath it.

Of course the blue collar bungalows are not where the value is, but rather the land underneath.

Don't want to be stuck with an EPA soils decontamination bill or something later.Sounds like a neat opportunity if all checks out!
