Just read this on a 1 hour plane ride.  

You can read about how to fly a plane and can explain it in depth to other people....but until you're behind the yoke, it's just wasted brain power.

But it's impossible to change the HABITS of a lifetime, on average I spend about 4 hours searching for plane tickets before we travel, I always know where the cheapest gas in town is, I always search for coupons for hotels on driving trips, I just replaced our 6 year old cell phones with new ones, I mentally plan out any driving trip, even daily ones and our monthly trip to the big city, I've always bought my clothes on sale.I bought me skis, boots and poles on sale, I ski at least 3 weeks every year (with a ski club-the best value).

However, I still try to make sure there is enough profit on the table to hire all the help without have to jump on the plane or drive across country.

In order to have a concept meeting you will need an architect to draw up the proposed build with set backs, height, bulk planes, parking, etc. to see that the plan fits the requirements of the city or any other local controls.

i am planing on going to PR after the hoildays and would like to look at some properties in PR if i can find some one to manage them

Don't be afraid to hop on a plane and meet those agents and even property managers in the area face to face.

Driving 20 minutes to be on site is far different than needing a 2 or 3 hour plane flight to get there. 

We live over an hour from 2 of our rentals, and a 3 hour plane ride from the others.
