Something as simple as wanting to see regular live music is nearly impossible in Stockton and Modesto.

Elementary school would be OK, but high school is another story - those are the students who could be troublemakers (graffiti, loitering, drugs, drinking, littering, fighting, loud music, etc).

Until the music stopped. 

It was very bohemian, had great coffee shops and bars, some great music festivals, street fairs and stuff.

I think it will be difficult with the current next door tenants, who yell all day, play music loud with windows open, smoke weed on their porch, and often go outside to shout rap songs (badly).
