I deal in debt mainly and some of my foreign investors choose to do portfolio interest notes.. and with tax treaties they can pay no income tax in the US on gains here.. that's pretty nice.. complicated but its out there if you want to spend the time and effort to figure it out.

Since they still have the right of redemption prior to the auction though, it makes sense that could be worked out somehow though.Since they have to give the money to the county before they have the right to sell it to you and you ideally don't want to give them the money until they have the right to sell it to you, does that complicate the closing process or is it not that big of a problem?
