My wife and I come from very different backgrounds with my parents being entrepreneurs who have started and own their own businesses and operate a few LTRs while hers worked for the same company for his entire career, retired before 60, and live a very comfortable life.I find myself at the center of both, benefitting from a thus far successful career, but also valuing the ability to be financially independent through my own means.

I have tried to get funding and it is not as easy as all these podcast and youtube videos say it is especially for an entrepreneur.

As an example, my income comes from business/being an entrepreneur.

It's a mega cliche but entrepreneurs are compensated in proportion to the problems they can solve.

I think I have always had a bit of entrepreneur in me, so I will never thoroughly enjoy a job working for someone else.

The term "investor" is thrown around quite a bit just like the term "entrepreneur" is.
