In 2014 I was at a point in my life where I needed help, especially in the area of taking action and feeling depressed.

If your goal is to earn a few hundred extra dollars a month, finding depressed distant markets in the Midwest makes sense. 

I managed a town that hardly ever has any properties for sale, but when it does it has virtually no buyers because the area is so economically depressed.

Of course, there are definitely depressed areas in Anderson, both on sides of the town and in various street-by-street pockets.

They city has shrunk and is depressed.  

I can't help but think that in the next recession/depression, prices are going to absolutely collapse.  

If I recall, they were designed to reduce premium (which depresses cash values).

After dealing with senior living for my grandma and my mom, I learned that the choices are ridiculously expensive for families and many of the assisted living facilites are down right depressing.

I feel that the extra layer helps mattresses last longer and keeps them from getting that depression they all get over time.

I have to do the same, raise rents on some tenants, but the rents were not that depressed.
