So we decided in lieu of selling our house we'd rent it.It was kind of a hybrid situation with the PM - we'd spent some time developing a relationship - she managed a large 200-300 unit apartment complex and was the head PM there - she was familiar with the tenant as he'd rented at her apt complex for 2-3 years with no problems.

Also, following-up on my reply from last year on this string, we have substantial amount of apartment/condo complexes rising.

If I acquire a Victorian home with steep roofing, I am not even sure there are qualified roofers who can tackle the complexity.

Hugely depends on the municipality, their work load, and the project's complexity.

Same process.. just more complex/complicated for large developments. 

My goal is to invest in Multifamily properties (2-4units) and eventually grow into larger apartment complexes (25+ units) as a means of creating a sustainable business that generates passive income to support my family, my community, and if God is willing then myself as well. 

Now that I have a few properties and my taxes are going to grow in complexity, I also enjoy new options previously unavailable.In regard to CPA's - I think this is a wise choice for me now, but are there CPA's that specialize in real estate?
