Travis Hamilton I can speak from the professional side - I work with clients in different states and time zones and haven't had an issue with collaborating with any of them.The benefit to using someone non-local is you have a larger pool of professionals to choose from, thereby increasing the chances you will find someone with the expertise you are looking for.The CPA down the road may be great, but if he/she has a client base where only 20% of the clients are investors, they won't be as on top of real estate laws as someone who's client base is primarily made up of real estate investors and businesses.It's really personal preference.
