Landlord-tenant laws generally outline how long a LL has to correct serious issues like a broken stove, toilet, shower or heat going out in winter.

Making a tenant wait weeks for a working stove or fridge, which is the reality of what happens, is a great way to tick off the tenant and cause them to not renew.

First time it was 30 years ago and I got a new furnace, that was a big win; second time was 2017 I had an expensive stove repaired.

Stove and heat is gas.  

HOWEVER, It is reprehensible and dangerous for a novice to go out with a cobbled together hotrod of a plan and not even be aware it's not even street-legal.As with wood-burning stoves--first you put the wood in, then you get the heat out. 

I own a rental that I had to do some interior work on; patch holes in the drywall, painted the inside, new roof, re-did the outside of the chimney, new carpet in three rooms, and bought a fridge and stove for it, among other smaller things. 2.

Oh and if you have gas you have the potential for them saying a stove is noncompliant.

There is still an internal staircase, so the house could pass for a single family home if we removed the stove upstairs.

With 6 houses we own the warranty has replaced 1 water heater, 2 ac coil and coolant recharges, 1 ac power line, 1 refrierator, 1 electrical outlet repair (tech found a short in the line we missed), 1 stove/oven control board and 1 furnace repair, all in the past 3 years.

The golden faucet really works in this room too.A few questions:[1] Is that just a Broan (type) Bathroom vent above the stove (is it code ok?)?
