I've gathered from browsing a few years-old threads that the REIA scene is pretty dead. 

@detroit_investor on IG is the first person i think of who's a big shot in the detroit investing scene. maybe DM her and ask for a rec for a company! 

Behind the scenes I'm placing the deal with a buyer, but it's all behind the scenes and totally seamless.2) The deals can come from lots of different places, and for each wholesaler it will be different.

While other cities (Detroit, KC, St Louis, Ohio-cities), have their merits, Indianapolis offers distinct advantages that make it a superior choice for wealth creation.Indianapolis is a thriving metropolis on the rise, with a vibrant downtown, appealing neighborhoods, and a rich cultural scene.

@Bharath Siddarth, I don't know your local market, but if you think the medical scene is primarily dominated by the university system without many other providers, it may be very hard to get any docs in your building.

Get a good agent that knows the scene, preferably one who is also an investor in STRs.  

@Beily PanApparently it dropped a behind the scenes deal and the seller wanted to unload it quickly so they put it on the MLS.

The road is full of ups and downs and countless unforeseen challenges, including building trust with your referrers (which takes considerable time and energy that you will not get paid for), and all of the other behind the scenes of building a business; websites, social medias, accounting, marketing, etc etc etc.
