I'm currently between positions and learning more about home maintenance and repair-Religion: Unitarian Universalist -Spouse: unmarried, but have a very loving and supportive girlfriend of 4.5 years-Pets: I have a very sweet cat named Maple-Hobbies: I like hiking, biking, listening to music, playing games (board & video), and reading / learning-Location: Boulder is a nice town but due to the supply of housing being (intentionally) broken, it is REALLY daunting for a non-wealthy person to think about starting a real estate journey here...    

My name is Jason Mott, and I am currently teaching music at an international school in Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates with my wife.

In the process, I learned a little bit about building codes, dealing with city planning department, inspectors, hiring help and sub-contractors, and obviously learn a lot about the various aspects of single family home remodel and construction.I did my undergraduate studies in Architecture but never pursued that career path but instead decided to record music and ended up building home recording studios and learning a lot about sound-proofing, acoustical treatments, and other helpful but niche/technical things that end up quite applicable in improving real estate properties that are near loud things like freeways, train tracks, and airports.Around 2008, I purchased a single family home in San Mateo 1/2 inherited, I bought out the other half from an overseas relative.  

Music helps eliminate the awkward silence and livens up the place.

And when it does, it will like the game of musical chairs...those who were betting on a rising market to make money will be the ones left without a chair. 

We all know the music will stop and not everyone will get a chair.

Most of my California buyers invest in TN, FL, OH, IN lately Oregon Coast but TN stands out with some great price points and lower annual taxes.If you want higher price points you can look into Elliston Place and Music row for more luxury Condo's or homes.
