I am able to see major issues, but I don't take temperature of the cool air coming off the vent, I don't flush every toilet or turn on every faucet, nor do I actually run the dishwasher, or dryer etc...my inspection is visual.

In both instances a small trickle at each flushing, which is likely the case with most failures, will never flow out where it can be seen.
