Anyone who stumbles across this forum who can point me to some especially helpful forums, books, webinars, etc for beginners (keeping in mind that I have a business background, not looking for baby stuff), I would be so grateful!

@George Blower - just stumbled on this thread, can you clarify why is the LLC is required to be a wholly owned sub in this situation? 

Hello All,Just most recently stumbled upon the potential of multi-family property investing.  

I know the area well and stumbled upon a fairly run down duplex that I'm thinking I can fix up and rent out the other unit.
