there are attornies that bait those that market on the phone and call those on the do not call list. has anyone run into that and shake down for money ?

I have to admit, I am a bit of a downer when it comes to evaluating deals, but having lived through the last meltdown, it is hard to shake those memories. 

@Jay Hinrichs Every time this is mentioned I still shake my head in disbelief that there are some states which won't allow you to sell something you own.

This work involves putting out fires, shaking down tenants for late rent, an eviction here and there, forced entry and fist fights here and there, getting sued once every other years (either for the fights or something frivolous), etc. etc.To be honest, the guy loves the drama and lives for it.

Technology allows us to collaborate with clients all over the US (and world) - for instance, I live in DC but have two clients in Mass - the only thing I can't do is shake their hands.

I really am not trying to be "that" neighbor this guy has just done a few things that I won't detail that have made me shake my head and I want to proceed cautiously here. 

Although in FL until all this mess shakes out, if it ever does, then I probably wouldn't even buy one as a personal residence.
