There are STRs there and Greenwood but not a ton of them.I do want to say that you never want to count on appreciation to make up for a poor performing STR.

Your job is to filter out the information you get from people and keep the productive ones on your way.

If you get a conventional/bank portfolio product, they're basically going to ignore the LLC and underwrite you/your wife. 

It is a conventional loan product so must qualify for that.It always you to finance up to 97% of the land and the construction loan with "one closing". 

Also, what isn't very well known is that a large number of Dominicans living in the country (especially the capital) aren't poor as the Dominican economy has been booming over the last 20 years.

I'm not familiar with what Cambridge might offer, but finding something without MI would only be small/local banks or credit unions like that with some portfolio product.
