One step better… maybe if everyone went as often as they could and it started looking like some of  LA’s homeless encampments, the city would be forced to find a solutionOr the residents that are fighting to preserve what they have, buy out the remaining properties and the fight will be over. but 60,80,90 years waiting?

Other things i have considered are developmentally disabled housing (don't know anything about), veteran housing (know very little), homeless children, special needs (don't know much)...

.:- If it's paid off, you could potentially leverage this house (take out a Home equity line of credit by making the house your primary residence temporarily, or refinancing to take out a new mortgage)- Then rent out the house to cover the cost of the debt you just took out- Utilize the debt to invest in another property (Ideally a single family or small multifamily BRRRR deal)- If you do it well enough you can pull all of your capital out of the second deal to invest again... even if you don't do it great you could end up with two properties paying down one loan.Just my opinion, but as of right now you're homeless and hungry (15, with no money).

You just have more crime there than other residential neighborhoods because you've got all the bars (alcohol, drunken fights) and a larger percentage of the homeless population which represents a decent portion of the violent crime there.See: Who is to blame for ‘aggressive behavior’ by homeless people downtown?

I will say that we lease to Section 8, VA, Homeless Alliance, etc and we have a ton of success with it.
