@Alison Brenner I think a 3rd party site (like Airbnb) review process and booking platform is helpful and an added layer of protection but of course it is not fool proof and there will always be horror stories.

And the paperwork can always be done by the Realtor on the other side, they are always anxious to help out as long as you sign the agency paper.The problem can arise if you don't have a Realtor and the other party doesn't either....who does the MLS paperwork?

There are so many "solutions" out there for STR is it easy to get lost in the mess.Some of those are worthwhile, Pricelabs for instance.For the most part, I just use the built in apps.
