I am currently looking to purchase a single family to house hack since multifamilies are few and far in between in my price-range, or they're in iffy neighborhoods.

We have already spent hundreds of hours of our time building these templates with lists of repairs and price ranges to save you time.  

Maybe cash out refi in the future when I can free up some money and keep the mortgage in a rentable range .

Obviously, most sellers believe they are not sufficiently knowledgeable to make the sellling decisions on their own, and prefer to spend the extra 3% for help.

So you can either repeat in same price range or step up a little bit. 

As of right now my credit score is around 720, would this be sufficient to get approved for a FHA loan?

A standalone 1-bedroom unit would cost in the range of $175,000 to $200,000 to build.

If someone has a general grasp of such matters or can be brought up to speed quickly, I might take them to the range, let them hold the Uzi while my hand is firmly grasping it at all times to teach them how to use it.  

Personally I look for sub 2% tax range for possible purchases.

Would you be open to small multi-family if it were in a similar price range?
