Hi Joseph,When starting your investment journey, it's essential to set clear goals that define your investment purpose and time horizon.

Since the market pre-May 2022 just is not comparable anymore I am interested in anyone who has done this in CFL from around May 2022 onward successfully and how it went.The goal would be to aquire a STR that would cash flow itself, or at worst break even and also use that to maximize deductions to lower W2 federal income tax.

However, we do have the flexibility to rent it out.Our goal is to refinance the property, as we initially purchased it with an interest-only mortgage, and get it rent-ready.

My goal has always been to be able to operate the business from a sailboat in exotic locals.

I will message you- there are opportunities but where and what depend upon your investment strategy and goals.
