Hi @Ndu Nwachuku not sure where you got your information from, but I can say pretty confidently that area will not be getting any improvements and values will not improve commensurate with the rest of the Orlando MSA. 

We're making substantial improvements to property #2, so worst case we could always refi to pay off the HELOC.Always run the numbers and have a Plan B, C, and D!

It likely has never been closer to having funding that can significantly improve the situation, but it is still a ways from being a reality (but once the problem is resolved, the discount due to the issue will quickly vanish).

We love that it has a "country vibe" with a more rural feel, but also has the potential for a population boom in the coming years with improvements coming to the town.

The value of the house as is, without improvements is 270k, so that means there is at least 230000 k of Equity in the home.
