Can you scale to 50+ homes and keep all the plates spinning, less likely.Ok, now you can tell me how stupid I am to pay off homes in the era of 2% mortgages :-)

I believe one must first think the fly wheel will spin and then take steps to make it so.

so if I could spin the money 2 X a year my cost was maybe 1/2 point to 1/4 of point compared to what i charged you  IE 1 to 2 points.. but in my day my loans were  5 points and 15%  so we did pretty well.. and if you paid off sooner than a year and we got the money back out say for 2 turns in a year we made 10 points and 15% or 25% apr.. so when U pay off early EVERY HML yield increases. 

Neighbors told my parents what really happened as they were trying to find a water line leak, but the water meter was not spinning when the water was off.  

Usually it is a spin and doesn't represent the truth behind a decision.

If there is something that guests might not like (Like a steep drive to the STR) she says disclose but spin it as a positive and most guests will love it.

It was inherited and I am not even going to talk about the appreciation that the family is getting over a 20 year hold as it will make anyone's head spin.  

One of my rental's AC Air Handler Fan Motor finally went kaput after 33 years of faithful spinning.

If the loan is GSE/ Fannie/Freddie/FHA/USDA anything government backed there is no such thing.If the loan is hard money it may not show on anyone's credit UNLESS it goes into default then everyone will report it- the hard money company and whoever the spin off the servicing down the road.Changing the servicing in no way removes the contract, reporting, and responsibility of the borrower. 

I have weeks at a time where i feel discouraged and look back only yo realize how much i've grown Elliot I also would wager that a lot of those folks that you speak to spin the block and sell you their home.
