Am I misunderstanding what the sheriff’s auctioneer stated?

I also took a major hit on my taxes last year due to my misunderstanding of different laws and stipulations, and after reading multiple books, and attending seminars, I'm beginning to realize that learning how to utilize my taxes and a business can mean MAJOR savings at the end of the year, and money back in my pocket.

Insurance also doesn’t protect you from misunderstandings, especially those made in writing and email.

Make sure your agreement is in writing to avoid miscommunication and misunderstandings, and don't make the final payment until you are completely satisfied with the job. 

Either there is a misunderstanding or the people offering you advice do not understand California tax laws.Whether an LLC is manager or member managed does not affect whether it is a disregarded entity or not.

Most people drastically misunderstand what an LLC actually is and how it provides protection.
