I'm not sure what most people do to fulfill this requirement, but my personal plan is to actually move to Delaware to fulfill the role myself.I would also note that there is a thing called a Series DST, which allow you to pay the $500 fee once and then create arbitrarily many "child" DSTs that distinct owners and distinct liabilities.

@Pete TorrezFirstly, your understanding of the situation is incorrect.The active/passive distinction you are referring to has to do with the nature of how income to the IRA is generated.
