The connections and relationship are created while working.I wouldn't wait to build a team and then start working.No one knows if their team members are good before activating them.I am cautious though I prefer to believe that most people have good intentions.People sometimes disappoint me but most of the time I'm rewarded with wonderful working relationship that benefit all parties. 

It had disappointing results and literally just had 1 possible motivated seller out of 1000 contacts and that motivated seller wasn’t even really that motivated and was just curious how much I would offer.

Read the thread title and was not disappointed by the post.

You will be disappointed, angry, losing sleep, the list goes on. 

Not nearly as bad as we see in WA (especially Seattle) but disappointing policies for sure. 

I shopped some commercial deals while I was out there, and was generally very disappointed.

Very disappointed. 

If that continues, it would be disappointing to miss out on, even with the awesome STR market in Nashville. 

But the way they described it made it seem like due to the time value of money if someone buys the last 10 years of a partial note with today's money, when they receive the payments the future value of the money will be disappointing.

Disappointed, no doubt, when they found out that if money came easy, everybody would be billionaires and the money would be worthless.The only thing I could say is the same about any two deals that we've done is that all the sellers were more motivated to sell than we were to buy and most of the properties were in some form or level of distress.
