I am thinking right around my birthday of next year I will seriously start looking as I am paying off all my smaller debts (except my current house note haha) and will have more money for a down payment etc then. 

My wife thought she had everything worked out, and the deal closing, when an hour into the phone call, the rep says " tomorrow is my birthday, I am taking the rest of the week off and going fishing."

Talk is cheap but actions and results speak volumes.For my wife's birthday I let her get whatever in the mall yesterday.

I'll be expecting flowers or a box of chocolates after he goes to work for you. 

After reading Rich Dad Poor Dad on Jan 1st (and three days before my 32nd birthday) I had a realization… I needed to get my a** in gear, take calculated risks, and begin pursuing the lifestyle I have always dreamed of.I started my real estate endeavor by reading numerous books including “Millionaire Real Estate Investor”, “The One Thing”, “Multi-Family Millions”, by David Lindahl, “Toddlers Are A**holes” (more on that later), all of Ken McElroy’s books and many more.

I was extremely lucky to have that support and even luckier to stumble on a way to make a full time income working nights and weekends in high school, college, and a bit after (doing magic shows at kids' birthday parties).
