Most are offering incentives.We always had 2-3 apartment buildings in the area that were featured in the news on a regular basis for crime and drugs, But now, I am seeing the nicer apartment buildings on the news complete with flashing police sirens and crime scene tape.

You must be able to read the potential buyer to see if they are in fact a "real buyer" but do so without the feeling of a police interogation as Ryan stated.

Okay we did a site visit today.The section 8 unit in question only the woman is on the lease.The boyfriend is nowhere on the lease.Not inside but on the back porch was a cage that housed a pit bull and a retired Rottweiler.The boyfriend stated that the dogs are very friendly and that the Rottweiler is actually a retired Police dog and he had the papers to prove it.The property manager mentioned insurance does not allow aggressive breeds period.The boyfriend asked what if he got insurance for the dogs and paid 1 year in advance and provided proof??

it USED to be notorious for drug dealing but now things have been 'cleaned up' since the arrival of the newly built police department a block away.needless to say...the neighborhood doesnt look 'pretty' because no one has taken the time to reinvest back into it. in steps ME and a big dream of revitalizing it but i guess not everyone is on my flight path ;)btw...do YOU want to pick up a duplex that has passed Section 8 and city inspections??
