They could have screwed us once and that would have been bad enough, but that wasn't enough for these greedy individuals.

There are probably other variables I would add (5 year GDP, crime stats, sports teams, number of Targets/Walmarts, number of Whole Foods/Trader Joe's, Fortune 1000 Companies, major universities, last 5 years of population growth, price/income, price/rent) and also add a weighting system, but I think it's a good start.I'm making my own spreadsheet for this purpose.Search market analysis here on BP for other helpful forums.

It just seems greedy to me.

Just don't be weasely or greedy after an inspection.  

I have been threatened , called a greedy slumlord , " you will hear from my lawyer"  , and much more . 

I personally will not offer on duplexes over 200K - the MF market is grossly inflated in my opinion and people are greedy/buying high. 

@Jack Trader I checked my files but no longer have that specific lease.At the time we didn't do a background check per se as it was an old well established Corp. 

That wholesaler would be highly advised to check his greediness and the overall picture.I don’t know if any of that helps but those are some of my thoughts as I look into wholesaling as a potential option.

I would not take anything out of your retirement.There is no need to this lender is just being greedy because he knows what you do not and that’s not right!
