I’m using Bear paint from Home Depot and it’s decent but you can see it doesn’t hide everything underneath.

What you see in the sump is probably iron in the ground water leaching up thru the soil .

The paint got so bad that we just starting pealing it off in the inside of the tub just to discover that the porcelain underneath only had some chips that could've been filled in.

Also there was old concrete sidewalk grading issues underneath the ramp, which was pitched to shed water TOWARDS the foundation, (not good).

One classic had a $180k Fed Tax Lien on it that went for around $25k & another with an EPA designated lead soil issue (complete with a do not plant vegetables in the backyard warning) & that went for around $4500.

Look at the thickness and get a good padding to put underneath if you don't the floors will be very loud when you walk across them.

I've done carpet, LVT, regular tile, etc, and after I've had some issues, this is what I would say:If it's a place that gets wet and might need to be pulled up, don't do LVTThe lifeproof stuff we have is great in some aspects (looks really nice, easy to clean) but it scratches easy and we had one basement in a split level where it was installed and got some water underneath it...that was awful taking it all apart and putting it back together.

Try it.The other thing you can try is to click on the 3 dots at the top right of a post and choose quote, then type underneath it.Another weird thing to note is that when you use quote lately, if you start typing your reply directly under the quote, it just adds reply to the quote so it doesn't show.

That was 2 months ago...Now the kitchen got clogged once again, and I brought in the same plumber who fixed the toilet..My understand about the 50 feet is that it is 50 feet into the pipes underneath the house...
