During rehab process the bank sees us with; 2 mortgages, 0 rents, and 1 income (spouse not working) and would be too risky. 2 mortgages will make us at borderline break even cash flow with existing income.

Short term deals don't really exist here as they are illegal in the surrounding area for the most part. 

@Annwar Zahrieh There are certain transactional costs/ costs of doing business in Philadelphia to be mindful of, but I believe the fundamentals that exist in Philadelphia far outweigh this IF investing wisely.

Hi All - new to Houston area and curious if there are any existing mastermind groups open to new members and/or if folks are willing to start one with me?

I know of two other landowners who own STRs that are interested for either dedicated tiny home “villages” or as ADUs to existing properties. 

Multifamily properties are allowed two detached ADUs and a third ADU, if possible, inside the existing structures.

I am wondering if building log cabin is going to create more equity vs buying an existing log cabin?

First, do what you can to salvage/repair the existing windows before you consider buying new ones.
