I don't have to deal with anything if something breaks, I don't have to shovel snow, and if I ever want to move I can just pack up and move with a couple months notice.

Not a copy and paste entrepreneur, but one who has shoveled crap for and learned from a more wise and experienced professional.

Almetta has diabetes and Earl has recently had a flare up of his heart problems and I'm thinking of bringing up the issue of  them adding a roommate (their rental is a 3 bedroom, 2 bath) to help out with the yard work and share the rent a bit just so I'll have these folks as tenants for as long as possible.Gail

Most of these turnkey companies are shoveling pigs in Orange Mound, Whitehaven, Hickory Hill, etc to OOS investors that don't know any better. 

TOOLS REQUIRED-Post hole digger, long handled pointed shovel, baulk-line, measurement tape, power tool with plastic cutting blade, extension cords, concrete combination tub, 4' level.

However, in a big snow I anticipate needing someone to clear the sidewalk and do some alley clean-ups since the City can ticket the Owner the sidewalks are not shoveled. 

I own a property in Boston and wanted to know how landlords hire contractors for snow shovelling to comply with city ordinances.

I love education and all - but you can learn all you need to know on your own without shoveling out a ton of cash to get certified.Just remember to treat everyone as you'd want to be treated and take good care of the property.Let me know if I can do anything else to assist!

Same thing on the snow removal, they won't be out there with a shovel themselves.
