After it is clean, keep it unplugged, leave the doors open, lighlty spray it with something like pinsol (nothing to puddle, more like a light mist), and let it air out for a day or two.

@Chris Marette, take this with a grain of salt, because the only times I appealed appraisals were before COVID.In my experience, if you stay with the same lender and you get a second appraisal, the best I got was an average of the two appraisals.

Just got the fresh MLS data for May 2024 for the Milwaukee metro area:- median price for the metro area is now 341k, up 8.1% YTD- we have a chronic rental shortage, rents are up 4.6%- inventory is up a whopping 57% from last yearTake inventory with a grain of salt, because we had almost nothing last year, so 57% more is still not much.
