If you modify your requirements to be flexible in the case of students and market it to students, their parents will cosign and likely be paying anyway. 

My parents are in a stage of life where they have very few expenses and quite a lot of cash flow, so they give upwards of 25-35% of their income + give of their time by working with a variety of ministries.

The University related events can make or break a full year, so you really have to capitalize on Graduation, Parents Weekend, and home football games.
