Biggerpro, so are the so called "alternatives" that we're proposing are sites/systems that compete with the MLS and not making the NAR private property public?

NAR forecasts 5.0 in Q2.

I think NAR lost a lot of respect during the bubble years when their "economist" was acting like a cheerleader more than an analyst.

I have no clue on a state by state basis what they have or do not.I do know in GA ethics has to do with a code and pledge If you want to be a REALTOR (third party affiliation) and the commission here and the investigators care nothing about them.Some MLS's require you to be a REALTOR and belong to NAR.

I will be discussing the options with my Broker as well as the very helpful people at GBAR/NAR.   

Example is last tenant had and outstanding water bill and had taken down the smoke det.

If someone could explain, to get my Realtor license do I just need one designation on the NAR site?

Although I am no longer a licensed agent in Texas, this is the time frame that it took me to go from un-licensed to licensed:Jan 3rd - Ordered course online from agentcampus.comJan 20th - Found broker to sponsor / hang licenseJan 30th - Submitted 150 completed course work to TRECMarch 1st - TREC responds needing finger printing & bg checkApril 15th - TREC BG check / Finger prints receivedApril 15th - Pay HAR/TAR/NAR/CSS/Broker duesApril 20th - License "active"May 1st - 1st contract writtenSo it takes roughly 5 months from start to finish.
