Do you want to be a landlord?

Absentee owners, pre-foreclosures, and tired landlords. 

I got sick of it one night and told my landlord I will be moving out in 3 months.

We have access to 66 acres of wooded land to build on.

I personally think being a landlord in Chicago is easy and I have never had an eviction. 

Well, a lot of life happened and now I am getting back to zero no debt and I'll be renting for now and I am considering a duplex to buy cash or maybe land and some sort of unconventional home but still purchasing cash.

The tenant understands that the property of the Tenant is not insured by the landlord for damage or loss of any kind (action of third party, fire, water, theft, vandalism, storm, heat or cold, electrical damage, pests, mold, accident, etc.), and the Landlord assumes no liability for such loss.

The pro development and affordable housing advocates use the term NIMBY, but I suspect it is the rare person that buys in a single family zoned area that would be thrilled to have 17 units (qp16 additional units added) in the lot next to them.My initial protege was the land source on this effort.  

Far less FHA lawsuits against landlords.
