A family member let us stay at their cabin in the mountains in GA for free and then we stayed at a hotel in Gatlinburg for the rest of the week on our honeymoon.

Now caveat there are lenders that do that with their best clients .. but not generally if the borrower is not well known or vetted.2010 was an excellent time to enter.. prices were crushed  you could demand cash into the deals and you had a new crop of borrowers by and large.. so we are in the honey moon stage once again.

Hey everyone, I have been super busy lately and just got back from my honeymoon so I have not posted in a while but to the heart of the question that started this tread....

@John Guinta,One thing I have learned, is that after the honeymoon phase of signing a lease, some tenants go straight into the toddler testing phase.  

Every partnership has a honeymoon period and it usually lasts from when you begin discussing the partnership until the first major problem.  

If it's a honeymoon or an anniversary the cleaners put two towels in the shape of swans kissing on the bed to look like a heart or some cheesy equivalent. 

The wedding was great but the honeymoon was even better :)I know my landlord kept the rent of my next door neighbor when he moved out this year, and with the raising of rent for his and my unit I'm skeptical of his financial well-being.

., so I've actually had people contacting me wanting to rent it for a week and even a month at a time for honeymoon, family vacation, etc., and that's what got me thinking about it as a STR. 

@Nancy Brook  your in the honeymoon period with your Columbus properties.

After that it depends on the occasion.....if they say they are having a Bday, Anniversary, Honeymoon, etc, we will leave something.
