Keep in mind with direct mail to mail the same list at least 6 times... it takes time to reach the potential motivated sellers and they are looking for brand recognition, if you consistently mail them you may be the first one they talk to... just a thought

It's about the quality of life, you'll have a better life overall even if you don't make millions.Im not sure if this was a response to me but...I was saying that an RE degree would allow you to skip the Real Estate school course(pre-licensing class or whatever it is called)...not the actual state exam. unless there is some mutual recognition or you are grandfathered in, you will need to take it.

my life is really all the motivation I need :) remembering that I can continue my work from a street cafe', a public park, an airport terminal or my living room, that my wife is my business partner, that we can both take any time we wan to have a date, some time off, a three week holiday etc - and that the strictest schedule in our lives is our son's school hours - plus the fact that we're both (almost) always there before he goes and when he comes back - that's what keeps me going at all times (as well as the more professional aspects of taking pride in my work, receiving praise and recognition from my peers, being able to help others achieve their dreams, the thrill of the challenges and overcoming them, etc etc)

In my opinion, blogging -- along with all social networking -- is an opportunity for you to build a brand, create some name recognition, build credibility and in general, bring some level of trust upon yourself.This also includes participating here at BP, blogging here at BP (if you don't want the hassle of maintaining your own blog) and networking with other active investors here and elsewhere.
