While some property management companies may prefer to control the listing for operational convenience, it’s crucial that you, as the owner, retain ownership to safeguard your reviews, booking history, and overall control of the property.

I've thought about property mgmt. but I'm having a problem deciding on whether or not giving up 10% of gross income to cover the cost of mgmt. is worth more than convenience of improving the proximity of another location closer to my primary and easier to continue managing myself.  

Downtown str's have done well and it's convenient to the front gate of NAS Pensacola but you could also consider near the beaches of Perdido Key since that is convenient to the back gate and it's a more traditional tourist destination. 

However, we believe there is a more reliable and convenient experience out there to be built for landlords.

@Ashley Gamble not sure how I didn't see this before but I hope you have made progress on this issue by now.

They didn't want men gambling away the house in a poker game and leaving the women and children without a place to live.The intent I think for a home to be designated your homestead is that is where you live. 

It makes more of a hassle, but I would rather go one day for a live auction than pay more for the convenience of bidding at home.

The purchase price is $275,000 and contains 1 commercial space on the first floor (convenience store) and five apartment units on the second floor.
