Would it be wiser to sell and take the loss now rather than continue dealing with this financial burden and uncertainty?

I do think that an investor should acquire a long-term buy and hold property if they can find them right now because Huntsville is taking all of the right steps to continue to grow. 

I will continue learning and reading.

Another lesson is to research companies online and in forums like this before you do business with them and if you decide to do business with someone, dip your toe in the water slowly and continue to research the company after you start working with them, because things can change quickly.I have some questions:1. 

However, it's a safe bet that these respective areas will continue to appreciate steadily for the reasons noted.

They tend to be the ones posting religiously on linkedin the benefits of garbage investment strategies in order to continually feed their business and have poorly drafted operating agreements often with side letters that are really  only necessary to hide from their lenders where their capital is coming from. 

This is not as passive as other investing but it will help launch your portfolio so that you can continue to invest without needing to work additional jobs.
