I've seen tenants get pretty combative when they realize their landlord doesn't want them there and they're in a tight spot financially; it can be easy to kick someone into survival mode.

What I appreciate the most about BiggerPockets is that it is a supportive and constructive environment without being combative.  

One thing that combats the seasonality issue is that Sparkling Hill Resort is up there, and I'd imagine short-term rentals would be a good secondary option to Sparkling Hill/Predator Ridge Resort, as well as for special event accommodations (weddings, parties, etc.).Understanding your post was from almost a year ago, did you ever pull the trigger up there or anywhere else in the area?

Do y'all use an eggshell or semigloss in the bathroom to combat this? 

Even if it did, the future is where it would occur, so looking at today's velocity wouldn't help me predict inflation.Will and Carl: I always thought that printing money (which causes inflation) would be a way to combat deflation.

(My lender made note that refinancing is also an option down the road as well 🤷🏾‍♂️)To combat that, i took on the Sarah Weaver approach & listed the Zillow listing pictures and posted them on furnished finder, to get Some feel of midterm/short term rental leads… turns out my property is in the middle of about five different hospitals out there, And it shows some promise for being able to be rented out that way, both After I move out and while living there. 

I like Nassim Taleb's way of combating this problem which is essentially making sure that the educator has "skin in the game."
